Welcome to UnrealAudio.net. My name is Bryant Arnett. After 20 years engineering sound for thousands of projects in virtually every imaginable type of media, I founded Unreal Audio in 2003 so I could provide you with the best possible sound for your digital production.

Mixing

Mixing is the highest level of service offered by Unreal Audio. The bottom line is: You want it to sound good! In the old days, a finished sound mix involved a complicated workflow requiring multiple engineers working in big studios full of complicated equipment. Today, your laptop probably came with sound mixing software that is better and more powerful than the million dollar studios of last century. So why doesn't your mix sound great, right off the shelf? Because you need a trained and experienced ear to make sure your sound is mixed to perfection. I take your audio elements in whatever shape they are in and I edit them, record or add additional sounds, and mix them into a finished product. My vast experince in recording, editing, sound design and mixing provides a comprehensive workflow that is simple, yet powerful, and results in nothing short of an unreal audio mix.

Editing, Sound Design, Pre-Viz

In the old days, audio was a compartmentalized procedure. A project would go from recordist to editor to designer, and then on to the mix. In today's world, we do things in a non-linear fashion. This means the recording, editing, sound design and mixing are all part of one process. In today's non-linear world, sometimes you need to have audio elements before you even get to the video editing stage. I can provide full editing, sound design, dialogue editing or replacement, music editing and sound design for your Pre-production phase. Maybe your video editor doesn't know anything about how to edit music or dialogue. Maybe you need to have some sound design in order to make the video edit really come together. This is all part of the non-linear world we live in, and I can provide all these services at any stage during your production.

Pre-Visualization has been around for a long time, but today's computer graphics have taken it to a whole new level. Sometimes the absolute best way to visualize something is to do the audio FIRST. then animate or edit to the audio pre-viz. If you can't get your CGI to look right or time out correctly, maybe audio pre-visualization is what you need.
